Massage
Massage is one of the oldest forms of complementary health. The origin of the word "massage" may stem from the Greek word masso/massein, meaning to touch or to handle. It is a holistic and beneficial form of health care that can be used to treat a variety of conditions.
Massage includes a range of soft tissue manipulation techniques that are designed to assist the body in healing and maintaining homeostasis. These include:
