Dr Genevieve Chandler
Osteopath
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, La Trobe University
- Bachelor Applied Science (Comp Med) Osteopathy, RMIT
- Master of Osteopathy, RMIT
Genevieve started her career in health care as an Occupational Therapist (OT) and has spent the last nine years working in hospitals both in Australia and the UK. As an OT, she has a special interest in hand therapy and has also worked extensively in trauma, orthopaedics and neurosurgery.
Genevieve was drawn back to university to study Osteopathy in order to learn more about the Osteopathic approach to musculoskeletal pain and is inspired by the way knowledge of anatomy and physiology can be applied to assist the body to restore its own state of balance.
Genevieve joined the team at Canberra City Osteopathy in 2009 and is excited to be part of such a highly skilled and dynamic team. She enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions and places a big emphasis on working collaboratively with patients to achieve their health goals.
When not at work, Gen enjoys getting out and about in the lovely bush setting and sampling the local offerings- and as a result tries very hard to get to the gym regularly (!).
